About Renee MacKenzie
A native Albertan, I moved back to Calgary in 2000 to complete an engineering diploma at SAIT. After graduation I went to work in the development industry doing landscape design, contract administration and construction supervision in both new and inner-city communities. Our work was primarily parks oriented but there were also numerous golf renovation projects in both Alberta and BC. Although this was rewarding work it was mainly in an office, in front of a computer and as a people-oriented person I found something lacking in my work life.
In 2007 I made the decision to obtain my Real Estate licence and begin my career as a Realtor. Working for my clients in the sale and/or purchase of their home is far more than ‘just’ Real Estate; I am in the customer service industry. I advise my clients on the best way to purchase and/or sell what is typically their largest single asset. As your Realtor I do market and neighbourhood research and consult with other experts in their fields from concrete specialists and home inspectors to interior decorators and mortgage professionals, and everything in between. I don’t specialize in one area of the city or one type of property; instead I focus on working with my clients and their specific needs and wants. I listen carefully, and ask questions to fill in the blanks. The most successful Real Estate relationships are built on clear and open communication and a specific goal – the sale or purchase of your home !
